The school library is integral to the teaching and learning process. The school library facilitates the work of the classroom teacher and ensures each student has equitable access to resources, irrespective of home opportunities or constraints. While the role of the school library remains constant, its design, digital platform, strategies and tools change as pedagogy and technology changes.
School library programs and services seek to provide and promote quality fiction to develop and sustain in students the habit and enjoyment of reading for pleasure and to enrich students’ intellectual, aesthetic, cultural and emotional growth. In addition the library provides teachers with access to relevant curriculum information and professional development materials within and outside the school; and opportunities to cooperatively plan, implement and evaluate learning programs.

Dedicated social areas encourage pupils to mix with their peers beyond their tutor groups and classes, learning about one another, their similarities and differences in beliefs, cultures and interests. This enriches their experience and inspires creative thinking and develops understanding and tolerance. Common Rooms also provide a relaxing space in a busy day to chat, play and unwind.
The Common Rooms are comfortably furnished with a variety of games such as PS4, table tennis, scrabble and chess while a LED is installed with a cable connection. Common Rooms are also used for other activities such as group work and committee meetings.

Our smartly designed computer lab is available for drop-in student use during open hours unless a scheduled class or conference is in session. Students are provided access to the internet, games and printing while they may also use an extensive software library. Students are encouraged to complete their assignments and projects during their free time. The soothing air conditioned environment facilitates learning strategies involving multimedia.

he School has a well-equipped and air conditioned laboratory For Physics, Chemistry and Biology where students are encouraged to use these laboratories to learn through experiments. Every year latest instruments, specimens, charts etc. are purchased for these laboratories and our lab in-charge and instructors ensure safety and hygiene of all students attending lab sessions.

Sports are an integral part of school life and we stand by the phrase that “a healthy body supports a healthy mind”. Throughout the academic session sports activities are conducted in the campus while outdoor activities are also arranged regularly. The IBA ground and AKU ground are frequently booked for football and cricket tournaments.

Wi-Fi enables new educational practices to emerge because access to the internet means unlimited resources become available anytime, anywhere virtually instantaneously, educators begin to use those resources differently. Wi-Fi enables instantaneous communication between students and students, students and teachers, and students and their family members from anywhere in the school, when needed. Students have the opportunity to complete assignments and research work with ease.
